If the images that you have received in WhatsApp application is not showing in gallery then what you do is, open WhatsApp application. Then tap on this more option here. Go to “settings”. Go to “storage and data”. Now you have option here “Media auto-download” and there are three more options, when using mobile data, when connected on WiFi, When roaming. So, you have to select each of these options and make sure that you have selected “Photos”. OK. Same goes to WiFi. Photos. OK. So, what happens is whenever you receive photos in WhatsApp application, it will be downloaded to your device. Also what you have to do is, you have to go back to this “chats” here and there is an option here “Media visibility”, make sure that it is enabled so that the downloaded media such as photos, it will appear in the gallery.
