0.32 -> What’s up guys, in this tutorial, I will show you
how to fix the “payment not completed” App Store
6 -> error you are getting on your iPhone.
This should be quite an easy tutorial,
11.12 -> for more information, click on the
first link in the description below.
15.68 -> In a lot of cases, this error is
related to an outdated payment method
20.88 -> or because of your Face ID settings.
First of all, make sure to completely
27.12 -> close your App Store application and open up your
iPhone settings and tap on Face ID & Passcode.
35.28 -> After entering your passcode, go ahead and
disable Face ID for iTunes & App Store.
41.84 -> You can then try to complete a purchase in your
App Store to see if this fixes the issue.
48.56 -> If the problem persists, then your payment
method was declined due to it being out of date,
54.72 -> having insufficient funds
or because of your Apple ID
58.72 -> location settings.
In your iPhone settings,
62.48 -> tap on your Apple ID name.
From here, select Payment & Shipping.
68.8 -> Here you can preview your current payment
method after entering your Apple ID password.
75.04 -> Select to edit your payment
method and remove it.
78.96 -> You can then proceed to add a new payment method,
such as Apple Pay, which would be the easiest,
85.6 -> a credit card or PayPal.
If you are using Family Sharing
90.24 -> and Purchase Sharing with other users and
devices, then only the family organiser can
96.48 -> change or delete a payment method.
Beware that some users have issues
101.76 -> when connecting PayPal, as your Apple account
information has to match your PayPal account.
108.4 -> After adding a new payment method and
deleting the old one, you can go ahead
113.36 -> and see if this fixes the issue.
Next, in your Apple ID settings, tap on Sign Out.
121.44 -> It will take a second to sign you
out and you can then proceed to
125.6 -> sign back into your Apple ID account.
Lastly, screen time, parental controls
132.56 -> and content restrictions can hinder you
from making purchases on your iPhone.
138.64 -> In your Screen Time settings, tap
on Content & Privacy Restrictions.
144.64 -> Under iTunes & App Store Purchases, make
sure that you’re allowed to install apps,
150.24 -> delete apps and make in-app purchases.
Alternatively, you can try to completely disable
157.68 -> Content & Privacy Restrictions and try to
download an app or make an in-app purchase.
164.4 -> Lastly, you should make sure that your iPhone
is running the latest software update.
169.84 -> In your iPhone settings, scroll down and tap
on General. From here, select Software Update.
178.08 -> Download and install the update, in case
there is one available to you and proceed
183.36 -> to restart your device when this is done.
This will in addition restart all processes
189.36 -> running on your device and can help fix the
“payment not completed” error you are getting.
195.44 -> In case you have any further issues
or problems following this tutorial,
