Elementor - The Post Content Widget Was Not Found In Your Template Error Message (Solution)
Hi, in this quick Elementor troubleshooting video, I discuss a quick way to solve the @Elementor error message “The post content widget was not found. You must include the post content widget in your template (Single Post), in order for Elementor to work on this page.”
It’s actually a pretty quick and easy fix. All you need to do is go into Single Post template and put the post content widget in there.

0.68 -> Hey everyone.
So I am going to show you a quick
3.65 -> troubleshooting tip for Elementor,
Pro or even Elementor.
8.01 -> So if you come across an error message
like this when you're trying to edit
12.04 -> a post, "the post content widget
was not found in your template.
15.96 -> You must include the post content widget
17.76 -> in your template single post in order
for Elementor to work on this page."
23.24 -> So if you get that error,
24.97 -> what you need to do is you need to go to
basically your dashboard and then you go
34.57 -> to Elementor sorry, you go
to template Theme Builder.
39.53 -> So once you get to Theme Builder,
41.77 -> if you don't have a single post global
template yet, you need to add it.
45.39 -> You can add it right here.
47.29 -> So you go to single post
template right here.
50.89 -> Once you click on it, you go to Edit.
53.25 -> Once you click edit,
you're going to see this.
57.09 -> It's going to pop up,
and depending on what your theme looks
60.97 -> like, it's going to look
something like this.
63.29 -> And what you do is, all you need to do is
drag the post content widget in here
71.52 -> and then you are going
to update save, basically.
75.57 -> Right?
76.69 -> And then now I go back to the same post.
79.32 -> So it's post 1311, right?
81.65 -> Edit with elementor.
88 -> There you go.
It loads.
89.23 -> I no longer get that message.
91.45 -> So again, that's a really quick
93.69 -> troubleshooting tip for when you
get this message in Elementor.
97.52 -> Okay?
