this EcoTank ET-2720, and we're
7.195 -> gonna go over this scanner error.
9.86 -> It'll be E-02 100016, and here's Abby.
18.994 -> Abby: Hey guys, it's Abby here.
20.644 -> So we have a scanner error and it has
to do with this top gear in the scanner.
25.415 -> So go ahead and pry to the side.
27.76 -> Your side cover and detach the three F
C cables and unscrew your ground wire.
33.29 -> Now this was pretty fun for me to
figure this out, so I'm excited
36.23 -> to show y'all how to fix this.
38.41 -> Now.
38.95 -> I've already worked with the scanner a
couple times figuring out how to fix this.
42.58 -> So I've already taken out the four
screws, so I'm just putting my drill
45.46 -> to show you where to take out the four
screws to open up the scanner itself.
50.739 -> Now, once you do that, go ahead and work
on carefully opening up the actual scanner
55.78 -> by prying the white top of the scanner.
59.4 -> And be careful cuz the glass
is connected to the white part.
62.58 -> But if you pull too hard under
anything, the glass can just come off.

66.93 -> Now you see this, the top gear when I
push it down, it sits on top of a motor.
71.505 -> So originally I thought,
okay, just push it down.
74.245 -> And it'll be fixed.
75.175 -> And as you see, I move all the lamp
all the way back over and it sits

81.625 -> And when you push it all the way
back over, just make sure that

fits back into place on this.
86.92 -> So it can scan whatever you
put back on the scanner.
91.31 -> And this bottom gear, it has these
little teeth and make sure that
95.09 -> gear, the bottom gear lines up.
97.58 -> So originally I thought if I just
push it back down, I'll be okay.
100.16 -> I put this scanner back together and that
top gear popped back up and that's when I
104.66 -> realized that it actually has this black
lever that has to hold down that top gear.
109.67 -> So when the motor runs,
it doesn't pop it back up.
112.85 -> So go ahead and.
114.035 -> Black lever to hold that top gear
down so when the motor moves that
117.845 -> top one, it can move the bottom one
along the teeth, along that rail.
122.745 -> And so we can see it worked and here
I am putting my Pokemon card in and

it and see if we get any error.
132.125 -> So Pokemon cards in push put it to scan
it and we'll see that my paper comes
