As you all have probably known by now, Google has made changes on how you can use Gmail smtp server. Apparently, you need OAuth to use smtp now. If you a developer you know what to do, and you can keep using gmail smtp with some changes on your application.

But for normal users, you can use the alternative zohomail.

1.52 -> first of all log into your  account and go to manager account
11.2 -> i will be using this gmail for our demo
14.88 -> to use smtp server we will have  to enable 2fa on our account
20.72 -> for that go to security option from the left menu
27.52 -> now scroll down and enable two-step verification
34.48 -> i will be using my phone number  for two-step verification
40.32 -> google might ask you to enter your password
53.36 -> enter your phone number and again  enter the code sent to your phone
63.12 -> now that our 2fa has been enabled you will  see a new option below two-step verification
73.92 -> click on app passwords
84.8 -> google might ask you to enter your password
97.84 -> now select other option from drop down  menu give it a name like smtp test app
116.4 -> this is the app password, copy the password and  keep it safe as you won't be able to view it again
125.28 -> we will be using this  password and our email address  
129.12 -> as our login credentials for our smtp server
134 -> remember if you close this page  you can't view the password again  
138.88 -> you will have to create new app password
142.8 -> now let's test it
147.76 -> i am using this simple online  tool to test our smtp server  
156.48 -> enter gmail as our username and password
163.92 -> now it says our test mail is sent successfully  
167.76 -> let's check on our gmail  and there is our test mail
